Pre-orders and Deposits

Pre-Order Payments

We offer a pre-order service that allows customers to reserve items scheduled for future release.

For pre-order items, customers may choose to pay a small non-refundable deposit. For Japanese staples such as Mafex and S.H Figuarts, this is only £5 per figure! For Mezco / third party customs, it is £20.

If the deposit option is selected, the remaining balance will only be due within 2 weeks of the items release. Please note, we do not control the release dates, this is down to the manufacturer.

Non-Refundable Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable, except in the following circumstances:

  • The item is cancelled by the manufacturer or supplier.

  • The item is significantly delayed beyond the point where other named UK online retailers have it available.

  • A significant price increase is applied (see Price Changes section below).

When a pre-order is placed, the item is specifically ordered and allocated for that customer.

Cancellations

Within 14 days of placing the pre-order:
Cancellations must be communicated within 14 days of purchase, all cancelations will forfeit the NRD. (None refundable deposit) 

15–30 days after placing the pre-order:

  • Deposit-only option: The non-refundable deposit will be forfeited.

  • Paid-in-full option: Only the value equivalent to the non-refundable deposit will be forfeited.

30+ days after placing the pre-order:
Orders cancelled after 30 days will receive store credit only for any payments made above the non-refundable deposit amount.

Completing Pre-Orders

Once a pre-ordered item is due for release, we will email an invoice for the outstanding balance to the billing email address provided at checkout.

Payment of the outstanding balance is required within 14 days of the invoice date.

If we do not receive payment or communication within 7 days, the order will be cancelled and the Non-refundable deposit will be forfeited.

Transferring Deposits

Deposits cannot be transferred between items except in exceptional circumstances. Please contact us if you believe your situation qualifies.

Payment Plans

Customers wishing to spread the cost of higher-value items before arrival may request a payment plan. Please contact us with details of the item(s) you are interested in, and we will tailor a plan where possible.

All cancellations under a payment plan are subject to the same cancellation policies and timeframes outlined above.

Delays

If a pre-ordered item is cancelled by the supplier or manufacturer, any payments made (including deposits) will be refunded in full or issued as store credit where a refund is not possible.

Estimated arrival dates are subject to change. We update product listings where possible, but please contact us if you require a status update.

We will honour your pre-order agreement until the item is released. However, if an item is delayed by more than 52 weeks, and the buyer can source it elsewhere from a named UK online retailer, we will refund the full payment or deposit upon request (or issue full store credit where necessary).

Limited Availability / Short Deliveries

Pre-order customers are prioritised when stock arrives, before items are listed as available elsewhere.

In rare cases where we receive only a partial allocation of stock, orders are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to know your queue position, please contact us.

If additional allocations are cancelled or significantly delayed, please refer to the Delays section above.

Pre-Order Price Changes

As we purchase products in multiple currencies, prices are subject to exchange rate fluctuations. Manufacturers and suppliers may also adjust prices.

  • If an item arrives at a lower cost than originally quoted, we will reduce the outstanding balance accordingly.

  • If there is a significant price increase, we will contact you before requesting payment. In this case, you are entitled to cancel your pre-order for a full refund or store credit of any payments made, including the deposit.

  • Minor price fluctuations may affect the website price, but we will honour the original price agreed at the time of your pre-order.

In the rare event of a substantial cost increase, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout before proceeding.
